Adding a second card

This guide

Each card is a row. The debt total becomes the sum of the minimums, and any extra is shared across all of them.

The month grows by the new minimum

A second balance above zero adds its minimum to the household debt slice. Leftover falls by that minimum if take-home is already typed.

The first card’s payoff can change if you had an extra payment, because the extra is now divided among more minimums.

Do not merge them

Two rates do not belong on one row unless you intend a blend. Separate rows keep separate dates on the month.

A card with a zero balance can sit in the form without joining the month. It will join as soon as you type a balance.

Order does not matter

The tiles on the home screen can be used in any order. Adding a card before a mortgage is fine. The month stacks whatever is filled.

The debt rows themselves are a list. Their order does not change the split.

This explains how WiseCalculator treats the numbers you type. It is not a lender’s offer and it is not advice for your loan.
