Your car stays while you price another

The month keeps your car. A car you are considering is a separate estimate until you choose Use this car.

Two slots, one month

After a car price exists, the form offers Your car and A car you’re considering. Your car is the one in the month. The other is stored separately and does not replace it while you type.

With a price on the estimate, the screen says what the month would be with that car, and what leftover would become if take-home is typed. Use this car copies the estimate into the month.

A car you already owe on

If your current car loan is already a debt row, leave that switch on for your car. The estimate treats the car you are considering as its own loan. The note on the estimate says your current car loan stays in debts.

Do not also add the new car’s payment as a second debt row while it is still only an estimate, or the preview and the debt list will both be charging you for it.

There is still one car in the month

The household month does not add two car slices. It shows your car until you keep the estimate. A third car is another pass: keep one, or note the preview, then type the next estimate.

Signing in stores the estimate on its own, beside the car that is already in the month.

This explains how WiseCalculator treats the numbers you type. It is not a lender’s offer and it is not advice for your loan.
