This guide
No resale value, no insurance quote, no state fee table, and no fees rolled into the balance unless you put them in the price.
Left out on purpose
The app does not predict what the car will be worth, whether you will be upside down, or what a lender will approve. It does not pull registration from a state site or a premium from an insurer.
Adjustable dealer rates and balloon payments are not a mode. The schedule is fixed and fully amortizing.
Fees
Prepaid finance charges show up only as the APR gap, and they are not added to principal. Anything financed belongs in the price so the principal matches the contract.
Gap waivers, warranties, and add-ons are included only if you fold them into that price.
What you still get
You get the loan payment, the ownership stack, the chart, the yearly table, the payoff month, and a two-offer comparison on the same principal.
Put that car total into the household month beside housing and debts, and type take-home if you want leftover.
This explains how WiseCalculator treats the numbers you type. It is not a lender’s offer and it is not advice for your loan.
More in Car
- The car payment versus the cost of the carThe loan payment is only the financing. Insurance, registration, maintenance, and fuel are added on top.
- Sales tax on the price minus the trade-inTax is the sales-tax percent times the price after trade-in is subtracted. The tax is then added to the amount financed.
- The down payment on a car loanCash down reduces the amount financed. It is not a monthly cost.
