This guide
Mortgage, car, debt, and take-home are stored in the browser as you type. They are still there when you come back, on that phone.
What is stored
The mortgage is stored after a home price. The car is stored after a car price. Debts are stored with their extra payment. Take-home is stored when you type it.
A blank price is not stored as a home or a car, and it does not join the month.
This phone
The browser keeps those keys. Another phone does not see them until you sign in and the account fills the empty calculators.
Clearing the browser’s stored data clears the numbers. The account copy remains if you had signed in.
The last open form
The last calculator you opened can be remembered so the wide layout returns to it. The month itself is rebuilt from the saved inputs every time, not from a screenshot.
The formulas are the same ones the forms use. Editing a rate changes the month immediately.
This explains how WiseCalculator treats the numbers you type. It is not a lender’s offer and it is not advice for your loan.
More in The month
- An account keeps the calculatorsAfter a number exists, you can sign in with an email and password, or with Google. The account then keeps the mortgage, the car, the debts, and take-home.
- The month is the first screenWiseCalculator opens on the monthly picture. A home or a car is how you start. The form sits beside that picture on a wide screen.
- Four tiles, in any orderMortgage, car, debt, and take-home can be filled in any order. The month adds a slice only when that tile has a number.
