Fuel in the car month
0% complete
0% of First car
Fuel is a monthly amount you type. It continues whether or not the car is financed.
You do the miles math
The calculator does not ask for miles, miles per gallon, or a price per gallon. Multiply those yourself and type the month. When the price changes, change the field.
A commute and a weekend car should not share a guess. This form holds one car at a time.
Fuel is ownership
Fuel sits with insurance, registration, and maintenance. It is not financed and it does not appear on the balance chart.
A lower loan payment from a longer term does not lower fuel. The car total can still be high when the payment looks low.
Two cars
The month shows one car. Price another under A car you’re considering. The preview says what the month would become, and your current car stays until you choose Use this car.
A loan you already owe can live as its own debt row while the form prices the car you are deciding on. Do not list that same payment twice.
This explains how WiseCalculator treats the numbers you type. It is not a lender’s offer and it is not advice for your loan.
More in Car
- Comparing two car loan offersBoth offers use the same amount financed and the same term. The cheaper one is fees plus interest over the hold.
- APR on a car loanThe note rate builds the car payment. The APR estimates lender fees paid up front and does not change the balance.
- A longer car loan and more interestMore months lower the payment and raise the interest you pay if you keep the loan to the end.
